during nyc fashion week, you can't miss legendary ny times documentary fashion photographer, bill cunningham, in his blue jacket & 35mm film camera snapping up street-style & the glitterati alike. he's the original sartorialist. this march, a new documentary & portrait of the artist (as an older, 82 year old man) will be released: bill cunningham new york. look for it!

a few months ago, i purchased a sample kit from mcmc fragrances that contained one small vial of each of anne mcclain's six handcrafted scents: Maine, Maui, Noble, Hunter, Garden, and Humanity. i have never been much of a "perfume" girl, but it feels very natural to me to have worn one of these scents everyday since. each one really is lovely & subtle. i especially like mixing them together based on how i feel that day.
i have really gravitated towards one: NOBLE. anne developed Noble after her time spent in Nepal (not surprisingly, a place i have long wished to travel to) and includes a blend of jasmine, vetiver, and musk. to me, it smells like a bunch of tropical flowers & burning incense. loooooove.
valentine's day is coming up... just sayin', hubs...

busy busy working on my new project (details coming soon!)... meanwhile, a little window shopping! shabd is having a sale. her work is simple + beautiful. i love her choice of color, shape, and fabric. on my wishlist:
