Holy wedding garland! I just received the "palette" for our Confetti System garland that I ordered for the wedding. It's goooorgeous! I cannot wait to see it completed. I have been a big fan of their products for a while now, and they've worked with a few of my faves: Opening Ceremony, Beach House (see below). I'm so excited to know such a beautiful & artful piece will be part of our special day.

wait, let me get this straight.
you're confetti systeming your wedding, a la beach house concert? THIS IS AMAZING NEWS.
we just tied ribbons to the trees and fences and dogs at our wedding. it was rather victorian; now i wish i'd had voluptuous garlands of confetti. daaaamn.
well, i have to say - i wish i was totally confetti systeming the wedding. alas, there shall be only one garland. but it shall be one kick-ass garland.
and there shall be ribbons, too. but no dogs. :(

when i look back at some of the phrases i used on the old blog (ESPECIALLY back in the wedding days) I kinda want to puke. how does this happen? like, i am almost sure you would never say "our special day" in regular conversation. like i would certainly never say swoon.
anyways. you are going to share the final product, (ahem, maybe one should not call a wedding a product...) riggghtt????
totally pukaliscious. and yessss, i hope to share the pics. :) actually, we're getting legal (aka civil ceremony) this friday, so stay tuned...
p.s. mom is way cute. and pretty awesome, i might add.
